Apples!!!

At our church there is a wonderful program called MPact, Mpact essentially is the Christian version of Girl Scouts. But MPact also hosts a class called Rainbows. Rainbows is for 3-5yr old boys and girls. Sam loves to go. He enjoys so much the teacher, who is absolutely amazing with her class. We love you Miss Melody.:-)
The Rainbows went on a field trip today to the Red Apple Farm. We had 19 kids! It was so much fun. Many of the kids had older siblings that joined us, and they paired up with the smaller kids. It was so cute to see 6-8yr olds watching out for the younger kids.

The cutest kids on my planet

This is Dabney and Sophia. Dabney did such a wonderful job with the littler kids. I was really impressed.

The whole crew on the hayride, minus me of course. With this whole back injury I am missing out on lots of fun stuff with my kiddos

Apples

This past weekend Matt and I took the kiddos apple picking. That is one wonderful thing about living in New England. WE have gone apple picking every year since Sam has been born. Each year we have taken a picture with the apple basket as well. And this year we BOUGHT the basket:-)
Sammy has been doing well. He has been having blood in his stools, not visible but just positive when they test it. He has the dark circles/bags which is usually a tell tale sign that something is up, but I am praying that it is nothing. I am kind of frustrated with MGH as we were told that we would have the biopsy results last tuesday, and here it is more than a week later and we still don't have them:-( I keep calling but haven't gotten any response yet.
My back has continued to be bothersome. I am not sure what the plan will be from here. The MRI did show that I have a tear in one of my lumbar discs, as well as some bulging discs, and some swelling around one of the joints. I have read a little on the internet about this and have found some articles stating that this type of injury takes about 18months to heal, I am praying that this will not be the case:-(
Stay tuned, tomorrow I will be posting pics from Sammy's first day of preschool!!! I can't believe we are going to school now:-)

Pumpkins

We went with the MOPS group last wednesday to go apple and pumpkin picking. We had a great day and the kids had tons of fun. The kids loved running around through the fields, and hiding in the lower branches of the apple trees. Our group had more than twenty people all together so the kids seemed to take over the whole field. They also loved the animals, although the donkey scared them a little.

We had such a blast today. Matt and the kids and I went with Tim and Tracy and their kids to the Red Apple Farm. It was so much fun. THe cousins love being together. We got lots of apples and they are delicious. It was a beautiful day although very chilly. I was disappointed as we have gone every year since Sam was born and used an apple basket to show his growth but this year they don't have the baskets any more. Here are the older pictures and then the new ones
