Tummy Time

Sophia is trying to figure out if this whole tummy time thing is for her. She usually cries the entire time but for once she behaved today and then decided she was bored and wanted to eat her fingers. She definitely seems to be having more issues/discomfort with reflux lately, so we are contemplating starting medicine for her. The doctor wants to leave it up to me, if I want to do it. I am on the fence about it, as I don't want to give her unneccessary medicine. I do realize that we don't do nearly as much tummy/ play time as we should because she pukes/chokes/coughs when laying down. Anyone out there that has treated and not treated, what would you recommend?

Sam I am

We went to Cbildren's today with Sam. He did wonderful. IT is kind of a weird feeling, mixed feelings really. When does an almost two year old decide that it is okay to be held down and poked with needles? He has accepted this as normal, and I am sad that it is his normal. He just kind of takes the pain and bears it. HE whimpers and that is about it. The first time they stuck him the IV wouldn't work, and so they gave him a bandaid and he said thank you! Poor little bug. HE got bit by some kind of monster bug yesterday and has had a reaction to it. He looks like someone punched him. He is such a happy fun loving kid. HE is into fire engines, Caillou, ELmo and Thomas the train. His favorite things to do are play outside and read. He is talking so much now and is so big. He is 27.5 pounds now. I can't believe he is almost two.

Chunky monkey

My babies and I

I love my baby sister

Sophia officially has a new nickname: Chunky Monkey. Not sure where or why I started calling her this, but she has FAT ROLLS!!! She is 10lb 6oz. I am so excited, she is growing and thriving and I feel as though, even though I didn't do a good job carrying her during pregnancy my milk is making her thrive now. She is such a content and happy beautiful little girl. Each morning she wakes up smiling and cooing at me. I feel so blessed to have her in my life.

Sometimes life is just hard

This is kind of one of those posts that is more for me than anyone else, so plese bear with me. I am totally struggling today with life and decisions that need to be made. Decisions about my family and children, my job and so much more. Struggling to find God's will in the mess of all that is going on. I know that I just need to stay focused on Him but sometimes when you are going through the trials of life it is easy to wallow in sadness, frustration, anger and hurt. So if you are reading this please pray for me and for all of my family and the situations we are struggling with. Pray for God's will for our lives, and for Him to direct each and every step that we take

Snowcones, motorcycles and Auntie Chantal

Pics from hanging out with Auntie Chantal, my best friend since I was 13yrs old. We were watching her brothers baseball game. I can't believe the things that have occurred in our lives since we have been friends. It is neat to see how God's plan works out even if you don't understand the path He is taking you down.

My friend Myriah invited us over today for the kids to decorate cupcakes. How brave and fun is she? The kids had a blast, and were covered in frosting and sugary confections. Sophia slept through it all
