Happy Independance Day and God bless the USA!!! To all those men and women out there who selflessly give of themselves over and over again, being away from their family and friends, being away from home.... WE thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! This year this day has brought on a whole new meaning to me as I realized that this is Dennis's first 4th home in SIX years!!!! He was so happy to be home with the family and we were so thankful to have him. Again thank you to all those who serve, to all those family and friends left behind who are praying for them daily. God bless you all!!!
Wow what a wonderful day we had yesterday. It started out rough as Sam woke up with a temp of 103.4! I am so frustrated with the whole fever thing, he did complain off and on throughout the day that he was "so sick" but for the most part he had fun. We went to a parade that surprisingly had multiple floats that were Christian. I was very pleasantly surprised. The parada lasted like two hours or so, but the kids did great.
Our origional plan was to spend time with Matt's family and mine, but unfortunately Matt had to work, and I didn't want to drive to this lake that was more than an hour away that I had never been to by myself. So we ended up at Mom's and spent the day with Dennis, it was his first fourth of July home in six years!!! But of course I didn't get any pictures of him.
