Sammy doodle bugs:)
Sammy is doing much better. The doctor thinks he has parvovirus, not sure exactly which strain, but same virus that causes Fifth's Disease, Hand-foot-and-Mouth Disease etc. It could be a problem for someone with immune system problems, but God is healing him. We went to Children's yesterday and he got the transfusion so he has antibodies to fight it now. Today I took him to the farm again, he has been asking all week. He just loves the animals, and today walked right into the little pond (maybe 6inches deep) with his sneakers on before I could get him, he thought it was great. My little stinker is back to normal:) Will post pics tomorrow

Sick and worried
WHile looking at my beautiful little boy today I was reminded of all of the fears we had the first year of his life as he was always sick and no one could figure out why. It has been ten months since we started the gammaglobulin transfusions and he has done so much better. Sure we had those fevers of 105 (so scary) and then the leukemia scare but for the most part it has been normal around here with him. WE get the transfusions and we just don't think about him being sick or having the immune system problem.
I am so thankful to God for placing doctors in our lives that are knowledgeable and compassionate about my boy and they do their best for him always. All that being said there is something going on with him and we aren't quite sure what it is, and that is scary to me. He has a rash covering his body, he then has these large red circles spread out over his body, he has been sleeping tons (several hours extra) and I have woken him from naps, eating poorly, falling alot, and now he has a fever.
We were supposed to get the transfusion today but because of whatever is going on we couldn't. We went to his regular doctor today (saw someone who was covering for her) and did blood work, He wasn't sure what was wrong, mentioning several common childhood illnesses tath would be no big deal if he didn't have the immune deficiency. So basically we wait and see if he gets sicker:( What an awful place to be. I have been so blessed to have him diagnosed so early with his problem and God has graciously kept him healthy and now we have this discouraging setback. Please pray for him, and also for Sophia that she doesn't get it if it is contagious.
These pictures are of him the few times when he has been not lethargic. He isn't fussy or anything, he just keeps saying things like "momma boo-boo all done." "hold you" (meaning mommy hold me) and askng to go night night. Poor little guy

Davis Farmland
WE went to Davis Farmland today after church with Tracy, Allayna, Jacob and Allayna. And Denise and Dasanee. IT was construction day and so they had construction vehicles that the kids could climb in and they even had excavators that were operating and they let the kids sit and help steer/dig. Sam had a blast and was running basically from the time we got there to when we left.

2 month check up
My baby girl is two months old!!! Time is going by so quickly. I am certainly cherishing these days at home wuth the kids. We had a doctors appt and she weighs 8lb 8oz and is 21 3/4 inches. hard to believe she has grown nearly 4inches. I looked back at Sam at this age, he was 8lb2oz and 20 3/4inches! She just seems so much bigger than he was. She has the sweetest disposition and smile. She is so mellow and calm. It's great.
What do you think? Do they look alike?

How do you like my jeans
Oh my goodness, dressing a girl is so much fun. These are Sophia's first pair of jeans. We are doing well. We have her two month visit this week, I am hoping she will be around 8lb 5oz or more. She is so expressive and smiling more each day. She is sleeping really well at night too, slept 6 and a half hours last night!!! I feel like a whole new woman. Sam has taken to sitting in my clean laundry whenever there is a basket around. Crazy kid! He is now trying to share all of his toys, books, and occasionally his cup with his sister. It is so sweet. We watched Dasanee and Sam wanted to share his highchair with her.

Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all of you mommy's out there. What a tremendous blessing we have to be mothers. I look at my children and feel so fortunated and am so grateful for these beautiful lives. We had a good day. My dad took mom, Denise, Doreen, Deanna and I out to breakfast/lunch. It was nice. Matt, the kids and I went for a walk and got icecream and then played at the park. Sam had a blast and it was nice to spend time as a family, as Matt is working endlessly these last few weeks to get his final project for his master's degree done, so we havent' seen him much. My sister-inlaw made Sophia some bows (check out her site: www.fiveblessedbows.com) and they are just too cute. In the pictures of her and I together look closely you can see the tiniest bow ever, and then of her by herself, she has icecream cones on her bow!!!! Thanks Tracy:)

7lb8oz
My girl is getting big!!!! She weighed 7lb8oz at the doctor today. I am so excited. She is getting some chub in her cheeks. And now because she gained so well I don't have to go back to the doctor next week!!! This week will be the first time since january or february where we haven't had one (and often many) doctors appointments in one week. She has started to do Tummy Time although she isn't a huge fan, and usually fusses and goes to sleep. Not withough sticking her bum up in the air first though. I thought that this picture next to the remote was a cute reminder of her size, now more than two pounds bigger than she was!

Davis Farmland
We went to Davis Farmland today with our friends. What a difference makes. Last year when we went Sam had fun, but wasn't walking or doing a whole lot. Today he was playing with the animals, milked a fake cow, played on the playground and lots of things. They had twin goats born about 15minutes before we got there and several other goats that were a few weeks old. They tried to eat our clothes, Sam let them suck on his fingers, and pushed out his chest to let them eat his shirt. So cute!!!
