CUPCAKES!!!

My friend Myriah invited us over today for the kids to decorate cupcakes. How brave and fun is she? The kids had a blast, and were covered in frosting and sugary confections. Sophia slept through it all

Today we went to the church that Matt went to when he went to UMM, it was nice to go back there and see his friends the Ackley's. They prayed over our family, marriage, finances, job search, Sam's health etc. It was so nice, you know God was behind it all because things that we are concerned about and hadn't mentioned they prayed for. After church we had lunch at their house and then we went to the beach. It was beautiful. Sam was fearful of the water and kept sending Matt to fill the bucket with water.

Bad Little Falls

The kids slept great last night, and I am so relieved. I didn't know how they would be when they weren't at home. Today was a cool cloudy daym so we took Sam to this place called Bad Little Falls. He seemed to be in awe of the water, he and Matt saw a seal when I was in the car feeding the baby. You can see it in the distance if you look real close.

Well since Samuel has been sick I have never left his doctors too far away. When he was 6wks I went to Florida, but since then haven't been ANYWHERE. That all changed this weekend!!! We had a wonderful time. We went to Machias, a 6.5hour drive with no stops, and it took us about 8hrs to get there. The kids were fantastic, we stopped twice to feed Sophia and once for breakfast and other than that we just drove. WE went to a hotel and when Matt made reservations he mentioned to the guy that we had the two kids, he then put us in a cabin instead of a hotel room, for the same price!! What a blessing. These are the pics from day one...

Cuteness

Sammy is feeling better, although is still having bizarre stools. He was tested for the intestinal infection that he kept getting as an infant, and PRAISE GOD it was negative!!! I am so thankful. We unfortunately don't know what it is though. Please continue to pray for him.
Sophia is doing well. She is getting big so fast. Cooing and smiling so often now. She is also sleeping extremely well. Two nights ago she slept eight hours!!! I am doing okay, although tired and stressed. Sometimes life can be overwhelming and today has been one of those days. I am so blessed to have friends and family that are so encouraging. THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you, for getting me through the rough stuff.
Here are some pics from the last few days, Sammy is really loving hats recently, especially his firefighter had. WE went for a walk by the fire dept. and they gave it to him. How nice is that?
