Boston Children's Hospital
Well they are thinking that Sam has turned the corner as far as all of the intestinal infections. We will still have to do the probiotic and avoid antibiotics for as long as possible, but hopefully/prayerfully this whole part of our lives is behind us. Oh yeah, guess how big he is? 18lb 12oz, he isn't quite so little anymore.

Another trip to the playground
We went to the playground again today. Sam loves to be outside. My sister Denise, her two kids Davion and Dasanee, and my friend's Myriah, Carol and their children, John, Catherine, and Owen also were there. The kids really seemed to enjoy each other. And of course us mom's enjoyed each others company as well. I can't wait for Sam to be able to go down the slide and walk around. It was comical to try to get everyone looking at the camera at the same time. This last one is as close as we got.

First trip to the playground
WE had such a wonderful day today. We went to the playground with my sister in law Tracy and her two kids Jacob and Allayna. Sam loved the swing and really liked watching all the bigger kids running around. We also tried chunks of peaches today, I tried to get him to eat them and chew them himself. He seemed to like it but gagged a few times. He also got his third tooth on the top left side of his mouth. It is so cute, barely visible though.

Dasanee's birthday
What a fun day. I am not sure who had more fun, Sam or Dasanee. We let him play with the cake, he really didn't eat it although it was covering practically every inch of him. He actually put his hand up to his face and licked the frosting, but then he gagged. I guess you can tell that I don't give him sweet stuff. He sure had fun making a mess with it though. He played with his cousin Serena too.

Busy day= tired Baby
Sam is thinking about crawling, as he is finally getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. It is crazy how something so little can be so exciting. He is also working on his third tooth, which he reminds me of everytime his is nursing. OUCH!!
Sam and I made our way to Logan Airport yesterday to pick up my cousin Kerry and Serena, let me just say that two screaming babies in standstill traffic on 495 is not fun!! But we survived. Needless to say Sam was completely exhausted at the end of the day, and slept until 6:45 this morning. We saw a group of soldiers getting off the plane prior to Kerry arriving. They were home from Afghanistan, not one person applauded their service or said thank you for risking their lives for us!! Well I did, and they were so happy I did. It of course made me miss Dennis all the more:( Speaking of Dennis his leave has just gotten extended to 15 months, which means it will be January of 2008 before we see him again. Not to mention that this will be his 3rd Christmas in the past 4 years spent in Iraq. Please pray for him, and for the rest of our military.

Red Sox fans
So Sammy has decided that he is a red sox fan like his daddy. He doesn't usually even take a second glance at the television but for some reason the red sox got his attention. It is hard to believe that he is getting old enough to really pay attention to things like the tv. Now all he needs to do is get some more teeth so he can have snacks with his daddy.

Easter Sunday
Today is Easter. We went to church this morning and had a beautiful service. Then we all came back to Mom's for the afternoon. We didn't have your typical Easter dinner, as DJ wanted spaghetti and meatballs:) It was good. Sam and Dasanee looked so cute. We tried so hard to get their pictures, everyone knows how cooperative one baby can be, imagine two:) Matt unfortunately didn't get to come to my mom's house, as he was serving dinner to people who didn't have any where to go for Easter. We did this as a community service project from our church, the better together campaign. Over 100 people went to the dinner.
